Hotel in nice quiet area, plenty of restaurants & bars. Nice detail was the espresso machine.
Rooms were renovated but in the cheap way.

The hotel was situated in a great area, handy to the Underground, with plenty of good dining options nearby. The buffet breakfast was excellent.
I think it will be necessary to install some kind of cooling system for hot days. The windows cannot be left open due to the traffic noise.

We stayed at Hotel Riehmers Hofgarten for a week and absolutely loved it. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. The room we had, facing the quiet back yard, was spacious and filled with all the comforts you could ask for. The hotel has a charming old-world charm with a cozy patina that adds to its character. The location is perfect, with plenty of interesting sights nearby and a wide variety of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The breakfast spread was huge and offered great value for money. a fantastic experience!
Strongly recommend this hotel.

Great price for a hotel of this quality. The hotel is located in a magnificent 19th century building and each of the rooms are decorated with tasteful artwork. The rooms are spacious and have high ceilings. Our room had a nice balcony but it was a bit too chilly in November to sit out and enjoy it. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I look forward to returning and will recommend hotel to friends and family.

Staff was excellent, accommodations very nice especially in the room, own capsule coffeemaker, sony speakers to put in your iPod/iPhone, even the breakfast was very nice and not just a teutonic spartan breakfast but with to order eggs and bacon. Enjoyed proximity to one of my favorite italian restaurants in berlin.
Place would have been perfect if there was a place to exercise but this was minor

the staff were all terrific
my room was overheated because of the pipe system and I had to sleep with the window open, therefore traffic and street noise woke me

We had a great city break stay at this hotel! The staff was really friendly and helpful, always willing to help us with recommendations for restaurants and directions. The room was clean and cozy, and we appreciated the complimentary coffee and tea facilities. The location was perfect, in walking distance to several key attractions and with plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in the area.
We did notice that the bathroom could have been cleaner, as there were some stains in the sink and shower. The room facing the street was also a little noisy at times, especially during peak traffic times.

Very friendly staff, contemporary room style. You did not pay anything until you were at the hotel. Even then they did not take any credit card detail before you even got to your room. Very refreshing to pay at the end of the sat rather than upfront.
No bath

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They made me feel right at home. The location was perfect, with bus and metro stops right outside. It was so convenient to explore the city and visit all the famous attractions. Plus, there was this amazing currywurst stand right by the metro station. I couldn't resist grabbing a bite every time I passed by!
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. It truly exceeded my expectations in every way possible.

hotel staff's attention to detail and keeping their visitors happy
floors can be a little creaky thus being noisy only slightly when other guests return to their rooms
